Marja Fiander is a designer and artisan based in Nyköping, Sweden. Her family is originally from Finland, but Marja herself was born and raised in Sweden. After educations in Stockholm, Scotland and London, Marja settled in the countryside of Nyköping with her husband and three sons.
Since 1996 Marja has run her own business, where she mostly worked with color coordination, interiors and antique furniture restoration specializing in surface treatments, gilding and trompe l'oeil on furniture, walls and ceilings.
Marja uses her knowledge of the classical techniques to go against the norm and make interior designs in new and unconventional ways. In 2009 Marja started to work with innovative interior design, creating large-scale patterns on rugs and curtains.
